Hiya, peeps! It’s been a while since I’ve written anything here (on my trusty laptop, notebook, or pc) because lately I am always on the go and with college preps and everything that’s been happening lately, I can say that my life’s pretty hectic at this point. It’s like; sleep, eat, breathe, bath, work, work, work it falls over and over again until midnight when usually I would stop and take a moment to breathe.
It’s crazy to think that just months ago I was a high school student and now I am enrolling in college. You know what it means? NEW WARDROBES!! I will probably start college in September or late August this year, excited? Yes, VERY. To discover things that I’ve never even imagine in my life is always exciting.
I have slightly altered my hair color to its previous glory, which is actually deep brown. I would say semi black almost, but when you angle the light just right you will see that it’s not black at all. Because I promise my mom that I’ll stop dying my hair in red as soon as I graduate from high school, sad I know.. but in terms with my mother, I’ll be a wiling party to strike a deal anyway.
And of course my shoes affair continue, this time with Saint Laurent’s Sandal with ankle cuff strap in red leather. I mean every girl need a good pair of shoes that could knock out a guy right on the spot, like those badass babies. Normally I would go with something classy like pumps but this is one of those days where I break all my rules and just follow my lust for shoes. As once Christian Louboutin said "Shoes are just a pedestal. What interests me is the power of the woman who wears them"
So even though they’re not from major brands like Louboutin, Blahnik. Choo, Vivier as long as they make you feel comfortable and confident, I’d say give it a go!
Lastly, my new discoveries are beauty products. From NYX’s Chunky Dunk Lippe, Clinique’s Chubby Stick, and Revlon Colorburst Lacquer and Matte Balm. This lip stain (or crayons whatever you may call it) proof that we don’t need to constantly re-apply lipstick after a drink or after you’re finish eating. And I love, love , LOVE them all. Here are my few favorites;
“There’s nothing wrong with a dress. LBD is a safe choice, you can go bold with colors or patterns. You can also go with skirts and blouses. Try to aim for simple yet alluring type of look”
“Belt, necklaces, scarfs. The list goes on and on and on”
“Denim pullover (preferably in acid wash or ash) some crop top. Or a black jumpsuit with sabrina neck.”
“I would suggest a blouse, or long sleeved shirt. Paired it up with midi skirt and some black heels. Remember you wanna dress for success”
